The conference will be held in Dresden’s Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel, where accommodation will also be made available for participants. Read on for more about the accommodation, how to reach the conference venue, and a brief introduction to the city of Dresden.

Accommodation will be provided for all participants in Dresden’s Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel (Grosse Meissner Strasse 15, 01097 Dresden), which will also act as the conference venue. Conveniently located in downtown Dresden, this iconic hotel blends historical charm with modern luxury, offering stunning views of Dresden’s baroque skyline.

Use Dresden’s tram and bus network (DVB). Trams 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 stop near the hotel (tram stop: Neustädter Markt). Various parts of the city are also connected to this area by bus.

 

To use the DVB network, you’ll need a “Single trip fare zone Dresden” (“Einzelfahrt Dresden”) ticket priced at €3.20. It is available from all DVB ticket machines inside buses and trams (credit card only) and at some stops (cards and cash).

From Dresden Airport, take the S2 train to Dresden Neustadt Station, then a short taxi ride to the hotel. Alternatively, a taxi directly from the airport will take about 20 minutes.

 

To travel to the hotel from the railway station by public transport, see “By rail”.

Dresden has two main railway stations, Dresden Hauptbahnhof and Dresden Neustadt, the latter being closer to the hotel.

 

From Dresden Neustadt, exit onto Schlesischer Platz, Tram line 3 (Coschütz) stops straight across the square and near the hotel (tram stop: Neustädter Markt). Alternatively, turn right after exiting onto Schlesischer Platz and walk along Antonstraße until you reach the tram stop Anton-/Leipziger Straße. Tram lines 4 (Laubegast) and 9 (Prohlis) stop near the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel is within walking distance of the station (just under a kilometer, about 12–15 minutes).

 

From Dresden Hauptbahnhof, exit onto Am Hauptbahnhof and take a tram towards the city center. Lines 8 (Hellerau) and 3 (Wilder Mann) stop near the hotel (tram stop: Neustädter Markt). Alternatively, exit onto Wiener Platz and take tram line 7 (Weixdorf) to the stop at the hotel. If you prefer, take a taxi instead.

Navigate to Grosse Meissner Strasse 15, 01097 Dresden. Hotel Bilderberg can be reached via the A4 motorway, then follow the signs for Dresden-Zentrum (city center). Parking is available at the hotel for €24 per day. Alternatively, you can park for €6 per day on Palaisplatz (01097 Dresden), which is just five minutes’ walk from the hotel.

A shuttle service will be provided from the hotel to Wackerbarth (departure Sep 26, 6:15 PM) and back (departure Sep 26, between 10:30 PM and 11 PM).

 

If you need to travel to Schloss Wackerbarth by public transport (aprrox. 45 min), take the tram line 4 (Weinböhla, start stop Neustädter Markt). Please note that there is a replacement service with buses from the Forststraße stop to your destination Schloss Wackerbarth. You’ll need a ticket for two fare zones, priced at €5.70 and available from all DVB ticket machines (at the station or inside buses and trams). Navigate through the menus as follows:

 

Press "Weitere Tickets für Dresden und außerhalb"/"Other tickets and destinations" → "Einzelkarten"/"Single tickets" → "Einzelfahrt"/"single ticket" → "2 Tarifzonen"/"2 fare zones"

 

To travel back to the hotel by public transport, take the tram line 4 (Tolkewitz, destination Palaisplatz).
